We love the classic black and wide and the understated elegance of the hen, all confident in herself taking care of business.

She sports a hand sponged stylish feather pattern in black on cream on her upper body and warm yellow sponging on the base. Sweet yellow chicks nestle within her feathers. Kept in a cool place, your eggs will cook better than having been stored in the fridge, as they are less likely to pop in the boiling water.

A very popular gift, she comes in a well designed hen house, complete with comical illustrations. 

Designed by Emma and her husband Matthew Rice who run their factory in Stoke, England. They are the epitome of Country Chic. The pottery is made by hand and most of items are also painted by hand using either a sponge or a brush.
